Happy Summer!

We had a wonderful school year and I am so glad to have taught at NCES for this 2017-2018 school year. Here are some tidbits to remember:

• Summer Feeding–FREE LUNCH FOR STUDENTS
  The Muscogee County Seamless Summer Feeding Program welcomes children 18 years and younger or 19 years and older if physically or mentally handicapped and participates during the school year in a public or private non-profit school program. Breakfast will be served from 8:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. and lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at no cost to participants at the following schools starting June 4, 2018 – July 19, 2018, excluding Fridays . All sites will be closed on July 4th.

• Tuesday, April 10: ELA Section 1 (Writing)

• We may not be testing every day.

  The days are allocated to allow for all classes to take the assessment online

  (ALL 4th and 5th GRADERS WILL BE TESTING ONLINE)

  Each day should be treated like a testing day- go to bed early the night before, eat a good breakfast that morning and get to school on time! Please no checking out early or appointments scheduled on testing days- testing will be all day, not just in the morning time!
